Hello all who's reading. It's 3am, 31st December 2007, on the dot right now and very unfortunately I'm not asleep yet. But then I'm excited. I've just completed the planning for the CCA Display '08! And this planning spent me three good sleepless nights, serious! LOL. Alright yes anyway it's up already, please do check it up. Anyway, it is available for download HERE. By the way, I think it's of extremely absolute priority that I inform you guys that your stated roles and all that will be final and no request for changes will be entertained, unless it comes with a reason that is deemed valid. I hope you all understand that it is quite difficult and taxing on the nerves to be in charge of such an important school event and I also understand that it is impossible that all of you will like your roles, but be it anyone (that's inclusive of Marilyn too who approached me to change her duty) I really hope you guys emphathize with me okay? =) Tentatively, there might be a meet up on the first day of school. P/s: I believe this blog is still not accessed before by some of our cadets and I hope that current readers will be able to spread the word about this blog as I trust that this blog will be more oftenly and practically used in the years to come. Message from Miss Tan: Hi all, I need your help to inform all the cadets about the CPR Course held this Sunday. I have put up a notice on the e-learning portal and it reads: All Sec 2 cadets are to take note that they are all required to attend the CPR Course and Exam held this Sunday. Date: 9 Dec 2007 (Sunday) Venue: St John Headquarter, Beach Rd Time: 0830hrs - 1230hrs (Training by Zone 6) 1330hrs - END (Examination by NHQ) Attire: School T-shirt and pants/jeans Attendance is compulsory and upon passing the examination, you will be given a CPR certificate and a badge. Should there be any cadet who cannot attend the course, you are to call me immediately so that I could find you a replacement. All Sec 3 2007 cadets who have yet to attend the course will be the standby. Help to inform all the cadets to remind them to attend the session. All Sec 2 cadets 2007 are down for this course. 2 days later... Advanced Nco camp for the sec2s. DAY1 Wake up early in the morning. 22 cadets were chosen, 8 cadets attended (including me); duh!We reach there, gave our's valuables to apc, as pc were not present and then we had our lunch there. Right after lunch, we had Platoon interation, footdrills; followed by lectures, free time in toilet queue-ing up for shower(which tooks more than an hour), not-really-delicious supper and soon lights off! :D DAY2 First morning, we have to fall in at 0630. Flag raising starts and our very-very first PT lesson. We did rounds and rounds, jump and kick; and warm ups.We had spicy beehoon for our not-very-delicious breakfast, which mostly all cant able to finish all, but at least something right. They always wants us to march from a place to another place, no matter to bunk, canteen, hall, ava room or even parade square. Next, we start our hiking session! We from Chestnut drive walk walk walk walk walk to Bukit Timah hill then from bukit timah hill walk walk walk walk walk to the top of the hills. Can you imagine how tiring is it ~.~ We saw alot of monkeys there, and the officers started to say that Monkeys are our cousin. We are the Advanced NCO 2007 monkeys; monkey sees, monkey do. This hiking also took half of our day, and went back school to have lectures again, not forgetting about our footdrills lesson and planning for the campnight. Day3 Finally, waiting for so long; campnight! It's a bit boring for this day, but i still need to elaborate some things. We have campnight! We plan our cheers, skits and songs :D Although is not the real "campfire" but at least this we wont sweat so much and then we had Friendship dance, "Do you love your neighbours?" after our skit/cheers. Our 'DO' gave us the namelist of night duties. (For my Bravo Platoon :x) Day4 HOHO. Everyone was waiting for me in the bunk, all hurried me and I'm trying very hard to get ready. Then we had foordrills instead of PT, Mdm taught us how to saluate correctly. My arms were aching. We collect our items win yesterday night and flag lowering. & alot of Photo taking, after that we went home seperatly. Yays :D On the way to sergeant. way to go way to go! :D JIAYOU JIAYOU! Hihi all! I myself missed the Promotion Camp, cus of some very personal valid reason. I hope everyone's doing good and had much fun during then. :D Now I'm just waiting for Marilyn to kindly do her job! She's in charge of blogging the details down this time round, since yours truly has no headstart at all :P Well well, DECEMBER. Powerful word. Equates to. 1. Holidays gonna end soon. 2. Schools gonna reopen again. 3. Last minutes of homeworks!! Hate this part 4. Christmas & New year coming! But heck care yeah? It just seemed like another cycle from the beginning of this year. The promotion camp was fun right? :D I miss it.
Some event was not posted as I dont really remember all ~.~ Present: Sir, Instructers (including a volunteered instructers from wrss), Sec2 cadets & sec1 cadets. Day1 Starting for the camp, everyone gathered in AVA room. Take attendances and Miss Tan told us about the "Command Chain", all guys know ya? We will try to post the event coming up and time/venue/attire here. If possible, You all can check infomations here, before calling/sms to Miss tan. Short briefing We place our stuffs to our bunk, go for lunch then we play interative games in the basketball court. After that we went to Pasir park there for Beach cleaning! Charlie won in the competition right? ^^ (Im in charlie platoon :x) We compare the heaviest each platoon got. Then we have our field cooking! -grins- Marcus Sir & Hoe teng sir were present too, he taught us how to cook those maggie! -before cooking you should know what to do- Step 1: Crush your noodle before you open the packet. Step 2: Put those crushed noodle into the water, add seasoning then wait.... Step 3: Eat it. -.- We have our "moi first aid"; not everyone does this powerpoint slide. Miss tan gave us that night to complete our pointpower in the next day. Day 2 Early in the morning, we have our PT.. and had our not-very-delicious breakfast. Then we go to each special rooms to give the presentation to instructors/sir. I failed; remarks: have not done enough researchs! -grins- Then we have footdrills! grrr. Promotion ceremony (everyone promoted into lcp & copral) and blahblah went home! :/ After so many days..... I dont really remember everything. tsktsk. |
